The cottage has been carefully modernised, retaining most of it's original features. Restauraunts, pubs, cafes and cinema are all close by as are many lovely walks on the fells or by the lake.

Windermere lake steamers are within a short stroll away enabling you to take some excellent day long outings without using your car.
